As a practising bookkeeper, I was approached by a business associate who had recently formed his own company. He had no idea how to go about any of his bookkeeping and payroll requirements. His filing system was an old shoe box in the bottom draw!!! He felt completely overwhelmed by the thought of the complications and pitfalls that confront a small company. Having sat down over a cup of coffee, I was able to put his fears to rest, reorganise his entire approach, streamlining his accounting methods in a more professional and easily understood format.
It was from this that I got the idea of starting MY OWN PRACTICE as I realised that lots of companies collapse because of failure to meet deadlines and hence face prohibitive penalties.
